A Day In a New Job!

"It's great actually." she said

Aros smiled and his breath could be seen even more as he blushed. "So umm, uh... w-what are you doing after you get off?" He asked. Kato looked at him curiously.

"Nothing really." she said

"Would you like to do something?" He asked. "Watch a movie, go for a walk, catch a bite to eat?" His breath trailing out of him almost like smoke. "I mean, I've only been in town since this morning, but I'm sure here, just like everywhere it's better to spend your nights off with someone than alone. What do you say?"

"Sure.." Ashley smiled.

Aros smiled and Kato wagged his tail, picking up on the happiness of his trainer. "Great, when do you get off?" He asked, blowing a strand of silver hair out of his eyes.

"Right now actually." she laughed

"Oh, alright then, Umm... where would you like to go? Like I said, sort of new to these parts." Aros said, scratching the back of his head. Kato mewled and jumped from the counter, rubbing his legs.

"What about going to see a Pokemon Contest?" she said

Aros smiled. "I think that would be a lot of fun." He said.

Ashley giggled. "Um I need to change and stuff so pick me up at 8?" Ashley said

Aros smiled "Sure thing, buddy. I'll see you at eight." He told her, he waved shyly and turned, walking away with Kato "I told you I could make new friends" He told to the Glaceon, who looked unconvinced.

Ashley left to her house and got ready She liked making new friends/

Aros sat in front of the pokemon center, Kato walking back and forth impatiently. "You know, you can pace all you want, it's not going to make her show up any faster." He explained to Kato. Kato glared at him. "Hey, I'm just saying." He said, leaning back on the bench. "Do you want to be out of your ball for the rest of the night or do you want to go in for the night?"

Ashley was ready and waited for her new friend

Aros spotted Ashley before he waved to her. Kato had elected to stay inside his ball tonight. "Hi!" Aros said happily.

"Hello Aros!" said Ashley. She stepped out the door.

"Alright," he said with a smile. "Lead the way."

Ashley brought him to the hall. "This will be fun." she said as she went inside

Aros followed behind her "So, I've never been to one of these, what are they like?"

"They are really cool you'll love ot." Ashley smiled buying her ticket

Aros payed for his ticket and walked behind her swiftly, he smiled up at her. "I'm glad I could make a friend in town so quickly. I imagined it wouldn't happen so fast."

"How come you seem like a great guy." she smiled

"Well, I've never made friends before, that's why I'm so close to Kato. He was my first pokemon, my first friend and until you... my only firend." Aros explained with a frown then a smile. "I was home schooled my entire life so making friends didn't really happen, plus the other kids tended to stay away from me because I was different." He said, pointing to his breath as he was able to see it in the room. "That is mainly because of my mom." He explained.

She quickly hugged him. "It's ok!" she said walking to her seat
